OUR HISTORY

James Douglas Evans Architect, Inc. was founded by Jim Evans in March, 2002, after spending the previous 14 years as a partner in a very successful Akron, Ohio area architectural firm. Since 1985, he has been directly responsible for the design and administration of numerous and challenging building projects  including, but not limited to, Retail, Commercial, Office, Medical, Educational, Religious, Sports and Recreational, Industrial and Storage, and Multi-Family Residential facilities, with collectively over 23 years of design experience to present. In addition to Ohio, JDEA Inc. has actively been providing services in the North Carolina market since 2002. To meet the growing NC market demand, JDEA Inc. opened its Raleigh, NC location in the spring of 2009.
